Job Description: We are excited to offer a Part-time Student Accounting Assistant position to a bright, efficient & detailed oriented college student. Renaissance Rentals is of one of Bloomington’s finest locally owned companies. We are a successful, growing apartment development & property management company with 25+ years’ experience in the Bloomington market. We own and manage over 800 apartment home rentals across seven communities.
As our Student Accounting Assistant, you will be immersed in the accounting and operational processes for a small, growing business. Many of the daily responsibilities for this role will be routine, which require efficiency and precision.
Routine responsibilities include:
In addition to the routine daily responsibilities, there will be various accounting & operational projects to work on.
An interest and understanding of basic accounting principles preferred. Familiarity with Quickbooks preferred, but not required. Experience with Excel and Microsoft Word a must.
Must be available to work 3 weekdays per week for a block of at least 4 hours during the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm during the school year (12-15 hours per week) and be available to work 15-25 hours per week during summer break.
Ideally looking for someone that would like a part-time job throughout their college career and work with us for multiple years.
